The Lombard District I Stakeholder Involvement Team represents residents
living along Route 53 between North Avenue and St. Charles road.

Current IDOT Plan
IDOT held their public hearing on the stretch of road between North
Avenue and Roosevelt Road in August 2004, ending the Project Engineering Phase
I. Now IDOT can proceed with land acquisition and construction.
According to the current multi-year plan (2005-2011) construction is not planned
until after 2005.
