What is Regional Planning Board?
The Regional Planning Board is a blending of
CATS also known as the Chicago Area
Transportation Study and NIPC also known as
the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission. The RPB is a new and
improved MPO that will not only do transportation forecasting, but support it
with land use forecasting and various other regional forecasts as well.
This should make for a more comprehensive and accurate regional plan.
Current News!
